CopperTech Metals is a U.S.-domiciled, tech-forward copper producer powering the next century of global growth in infrastructure and technology, through a reliable supply of high-grade copper.
We are owned by Vedanta Resources, a leading global diversified natural resources company focused on mining, oil and gas and metals production, with major operations in India and Africa.
Building on the deep expertise of Vedanta, we will operate world-class, copper and cobalt assets in Zambia, with advanced intelligence and ESG-led operations to deliver quality at scale. With fully integrated operations across the production value chain, our growth is anchored on a disciplined and de-risked approach to production.

Powering the copper century and U.S. mineral independence
The next century of growth, across AI, data centers, grids, and electrification, will be built on copper. We aim to power this era of advancement by strengthening U.S. mineral independence through a secure, high-quality supply of critical minerals. U.S. copper demand is projected to rise by over 40% by 2040, even as global supply tightens due to declining ore grades, long development timelines, and geopolitical concentration.
Against this backdrop, U.S. policy increasingly prioritizes secure, diversified supply from Western-aligned jurisdictions. With an installed asset base and fully-functional, established operating practices, we will be positioned to meet this opportunity by the rare combination of grade, scale, and integration. Konkola Complex's average copper grade of 2.9% will enable us to capture value at every step and deliver resilient, long-term supply. In doing so, we aim to serve critical infrastructure, energy security, and shared progress for decades to come.

Integrating excellence with quality across the value chain
Our flagship asset, KCM Plc, is owned by Vedanta Resources and ZCCM-IH and will be fully operated by CopperTech Metals. Our operations are built on a high-grade copper and cobalt system, supported by integrated mining, processing, and smelting infrastructure and a long-standing operating history.
